Ted Willich has more than 20 years of experience founding and leading high-growth companies. Previous to NLP Logix, Ted was co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of MDI, a start-up in the medical services industry that grew to more than $100 million in annual revenues over the course of 18 years. It was at MDI that he developed a passion for leveraging the power of advanced computing and working closely with technologists to develop and deploy solutions to increase productivity, revenues and efficiencies. Prior to starting a career in business, Ted served as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps from 1988 until 1992. Upon separation from active duty, Ted served in various command and staff assignments and retired from the Marine Corps Reserve as a Major in 2003.
Co-Founder and Chief Information Officer
Matt Berseth began his career as an intern for Microsoft, which had recently acquired the Great Plains accounting software platform in Fargo, North Dakota, where Matt is from. Upon completing his formal education in Computer Science, Matt moved to Jacksonville, Florida, where he continued his software development career. He has worked in several industries, including healthcare, marketing, and logistics, where his focus was on developing and deploying predictive modeling applications into a production environment. He started competing in international data science competitions hosted by Kaggle.com and consistently scored in the top 10; some of the contests he competed in include: Practice Fusion Diabetes Classification, US Census Response Modeling, and General Electric’s Flight Quest Challenge. Matt is an AI and data science subject matter expert, and a member of the Forbes Technology Council. He also led a TEDx talk in 2022, entitled “Why Artificial Intelligence Is More Human Than You Think.”
